How to reinstate a lapsed CRP/SCRP designation.
If you are interested in reinstating your CRP designation after it has lapsed, please send an email to crpinfo@talenteverywhere.org to let us know and we will provide more information based on your profile. Typically, the below would apply.
- You may be eligible to reinstate your designation without retaking the exam if it has been 3 years or less since you have lapsed. For example, if your designation expired on 7/31/2023, you may be able to reinstate the designation without taking the exam until 7/31/2026. After 3 years, or a full renewal cycle, you will need to retake the exam to hold the CRP.
- You will need to first renew your membership if it is not active.
- You must then earn all 30 credits by the date provided by WERC. You may purchase the Learning Portal subscription to assist with earning the credits.
- You must notify WERC when you have completed the steps above so that you can be provided with the designation lapsed order/invoice to make your payment.
Once you remit the fee, your designation will become valid and your next renewal date will be 7/31/2026. You will need to obtain another set of 30 CE credits by that date to renew again and then submit the fee. Make sure to keep your membership active in good standing as this is a requirement to retain your CRP/SCRP designation.
Your reinstatement dates may differ than the above based on your profile, so please keep in contact with crpinfo@talenteverywhere.org.
