Have you earned credits towards your designation, but they do not show up when you check your credit count?
Summary: Credits added/earned before or after your current renewal cycle dates will not show up when you check your credit count. See below for more detail.
WERC webinars: If you are watching a webinar from the Learning Portal AFTER your expiration date, it will not show up when you check your credit count. You will need to send an email to the CRP or GMS inbox so that WERC staff can backdate the credit earned date for you.
For example, if your renewal cycle is 8/1/2022 - 7/31/2025 and you are watching webinars from our Learning Portal on 8/1/2025 or later, your credit count will not change. You must notify staff so that we can backdate the "earned date" to 7/31/2025, this will ensure that the number of credits is accurate and can be applied to issue your renewal invoice.
NON-WERC webinars: If you are uploading credits earned AFTER your expiration date, it will not show up when you check your credit count.
For example, if your renewal cycle is 8/1/2022 - 7/31/2025 and you uploading a credit from an event that took place after 7/31/2025, the credit will not count. You must notify staff so that we can backdate the "earned date" to 7/31/2025, this will ensure that the number of credits is accurate and can be applied to issue your renewal invoice.
If you are uploading credits earned before your renewal cycle starts, the earned date can be pushed forward (to 8/1) only for your first renewal cycle. After your first renewal cycle, it will not count.
For your first renewal cycle only: If you just obtained your designation and you recently earned credits, you must notify staff so that we can pushdate the "earned date" to 8/1.
OR
For example, if your renewal cycle is 8/1/2022 - 7/31/2025 and you are adding a credit from any time before 8/1/2022, it will not count towards your credits as that renewal period and date earned has already passed.
Please do not adjust the credit earned date on your own as the credit request will be declined or deleted. Your designation is valid from the time you earn it, until your expiration date of 7/31/20XX, provided you fulfill the requirements to maintain your designation.
